2008 Magazine Writer's Workshop
June 6-8, 2008
Featuring author Pam Houston

Taking place at the Boulder Marriott
2660 Canyon Boulevard · Boulder, CO 80302

Attention Writers! If you love to write and want to hone your craft (or if you already attended our Original Magazine Conference in 2007), this is the conference for you.

At The Magazine Writer’s Workshop, we’ll offer general sessions on great writing, querying editors, and running your writing business as a freelancer. Then, we dig deep. Breaking into groups of no more than 15 for an intensive classroom style format. In those workshops, you’ll be given writing exercises, be critiqued, and learn how to write a solid travel piece, profile, personal essay, and front of the book short.

You're a Pam Houston fan, too, Libbie? She does share so much of herself in her work that I feel like we've sat around & talked over campfire coffee. Stop by the Backcountry Bookshelf topic & tell us about some of your favorites....

This just sounds like such a good workshop - and isn't Pam Houston a firecracker of a gal? I don't know her personally, but I feel sort of like I do from reading her essays!!!

XOXO, Libbie

"Farmgirl Sister #10," and proud of it!!!
