I just popped in on your blog and going right back to read more :). The picture of the river it looks like the one we visited and stayed in tipis , Redbeards camping area down by Bennent Springs. I took pictures off that cliff that looks like the one in the picture. Is it the same one by chance? Its beautiful.

I loaned out your book that I so enjoyed reading this last October. A Mile In Her Boots, loved it and I hope I get it back : )

Ok I'm going for some hot cocoa and do some blog reading.

Ozarks is the best place to be :)

Happy New Year,

Isn't that neat how a photograph can not only take you to places you haven't been before, but bring back a whole slew of memories of like places? I love photography!!

Hi Linda!
Sorry it took me so long to respond; I've had a nasty flu-like bug of some sort that lasted for weeks. Seems I'm in the clear now - yea! That picture is actually taken from the bluffs just outside Calico Rock, AR. It's the White River. But it does look like so many beautiful river overlooks in the Ozarks, doesn't it? The rivers are my favorite part of the region.
