They will understand the components of a shotgun and how a shotgun operates. Women attending will learn and be able to demonstrate how to handle a shotgun in a safe manner; how to safely load, unload and carry a shotgun safely. They will clean a shotgun. Women will be introduced to basic trapshooting skills. These include establishing dominant eye, stance, how to mount a shotgun, eye placement, barrel placement and follow-through. Each participant will shoot 25-40 shells at moving clay targets.
