A question for you moms with kids in elementary ...how long are your child's outdoor recesses (and how many do they get per day)?

My girls get 2 15-minute recesses, and I think that's really skimpy!

Oh, I just learned that gym is actually 5 days a week now. 4 days with the gym teacher - 1 day with their home room teacher. Yay!

30 minutes of recess every day.

My girls are 5 and 7. They get gym 2 days a week - 4 is great! Sounds like our school isn't that far off on recesses, though.

Hey Jen ~ My kids usually get one half hour recess per day. Although there are times when they do not get outside, but still have indoor play. While other times, they may not get one at all. What ages are your girls?
