I think one of my favorite things to do is walk in the woods. I'll walk forever just listening to all my favorite nature sounds. Sometimes I just sit real quite & wait to see or hear whatever animals I can. Deer I always see, no matter where I go & that is a sight I never tire of.

Jim and I went for a walk on state forest land yesterday. We are always looking for birds, flowers etc. We saw the first mushroom of the year ( a cup fungus) so for us it's officially spring (my husband is a retired mycologist.) Can morels be far behind? JoAnn

Walking in nature always revitalizes me. My DH literally has to drag me away- I could spend hours.

My favorite thing to do on a hot summer’s day is to wander through deep forest. It always seems to be just the right temperature deep under the canopy of the forest and if you get chilled you can always find a nice sunny spot to curl up in for a while!
