This is hard to watch, but it'll sure inspire you to bring your own cloth bags:

That was very good....I always have my bags in the car...and pledge to use them every time..not just when I find it convenient.!! This is so important..and something easy that we can all do!

I got reusable bags of all shapes, colors and sizes... the trick is to remember to take them in !
After that powerful presentation, I will definitely be more inclined to remember!!!!
Thanks

It's so easy, I think the hardest part is just breaking old habit. Occasionally I forget to bring my bags into the store but I've actually had the cashier hold my stuff while I ran out to the car! I had a plastic produce bag that I had been reusing and I went to throw it away last night and couldn't! I just thought of all those bags hurting all those animals and it made me so sad. ThenI got to thinking about recycling and I know that there are so many different types of plastic and not all are recyclable so where do the rest go?

What a great slideshow. Thanks for posting that, Traci! Using reusable bags is so important. And I know paper isn't much better because of cutting of trees- but at least it is biodegradable. So if you totally forget your cloth bags at home- ask for paper instead!

Definitely a problem I have, leaving the bags at home or in the car. Usually I will ask for paper if mine are not available. I reuse the paper and I do take all the plastic ones that I do get back to the recycle bin at the grocery store. Hopefully they actually get recycled.

I usually put my bags on top of my purse so I'm sure to see them and bring them in.JoAnn

That's a good tip, JoAnn. I need to start carrying a stash of them in the car for when I forget!
