how to submit a trip
Information that is particularly helpful includes:
- mapped location
- distance
- elevation gain/loss
- condition of trail/route
- hazards such as
- avalanche danger
- tidal currents
- rock rubble
- insects and bees’ nests
- washouts
- temporary trail closures
Tell the pleasant parts of your tip, too.
Submit any trip, hard/easy, ordinary/exotic.
We may edit or cut your report.
Pictures are encouraged.
Send us a handwritten report if necessary and we’ll type it in.
We’ll use the following categories to describe your trip:
- Canoeing/Kayaking/Water Trips
- Cross-Country Skiing/Snowshoeing
- Cross Country
- Climbing/Scrambling
- Mountain Biking
- Animal Assisted Travel
- Hiking
On a more technical note, if you upload via the Internet
we can view and modify data from any major word processing program.
If you have pictures to upload, they will need to be in jpeg format.
We limit stories to 3 pictures with a size limit of 100k total.
